Speaking of, strap in for this interactive “Movie Party” presentation. It’s the next best thing to actual storm chasing, with props and surprises galore to bring the rollicking action on screen to vivid life inside the theater — including hail and flying cows! This is the only time you'll want to definitely want to be in the "Suck Zone!"

Alamo Drafthouse Chandler is excited to announce a post-film Q&A with longtime Arizona Republic reporter Richard Ruelas! Mr. Ruelas wrote about the Phoenix Lights when they first became a phenomenon 20 years ago.
PHOENIX FORGOTTEN is based on the shocking, true events of March 13th, 1997, when several mysterious lights appeared over Phoenix, Arizona. This unprecedented and inexplicable phenomenon became known as “The Phoenix Lights” and remains the most famous and widely viewed UFO sighting in history.
The sci-fi thriller tells the story of three teens who went into the desert shortly after the incident, hoping to document the strange events occurring in their town. They disappeared that night, and were never seen again. Now, on the 20th anniversary of their disappearance, unseen footage has finally been discovered, chronicling the final hours of their fateful expedition. A massive hit upon release, it's a showcase for the Purple One’s otherworldly musical, visual and sartorial stylings, and introduced the world to the glory of "When Doves Cry," "Let's Go Crazy," and of course, "Purple Rain." We'll be enjoying these songs with glowsticks, streamers and tambourines that are included with your ticket!
