Last Saturday, the kids and I had the opportunity to go for lunch at Jet's Pizza on Arizona Avenue. Now a lot of you probably don't know this, but my husband and I owned a pizza restaurant back in Canada for 3 years. As you can imagine, you become very particular in what you like when it comes to pizza, after making your own for years. I have had a really hard time finding good pizza since moving down here, and I have to say Jet's Pizza was so good. I like a crispy thicker crust, and Jet's hit the nail on the head. The crust was nice and crispy, the sauce was tangy, they used real cheese, and they were not cheap on the toppings, mmmmm now my mouth is watering for more!
Not only were the pizza and wings awesome at Jet's, but the staff was so friendly. The General Manager Ryan is such an genuine down to earth guy, and he really went the extra mile to take care of us from the minute we walked through the door. Jet's has been around since 1978 and was started in Sterling Heights, Michigan by Eugene and John Jett. Jet's has always prided itself on the best and most fresh ingredients available and the recipe and process hasn't changed since 1978. There are over 400 stores nation wide offering the most delicious pizza.
Ryan and his partner Mark met about 2 years ago, Ryan use to be a business coach for Jets corporate and trained trainees to go open their own stores across the US and Mark was a business guru running a very successful machine tool shop in Troy, Michigan making parts for big companies like GM. Mark was a trainee at jets and that's how they came across each other, Mark took Ryan under his wing and showed him everything he knew about business. Ryan is so happy that Mark decided to open up in Chandler, because the people and community are truly awesome. They both love it out here and plan on opening many more stores to share this awesome pizza experience with the rest of Arizona.
