I was so lucky to get chosen to host a Cars 3: Driven to Win video game party, and invite a whole bunch of our friends over to escape the Arizona heat wave. The day started out with a trip to the movie theater, where we got to kick back in the air conditioning, and watch the new Cars 3 movie. It was a perfect way to start the video game party, the kids had the story line fresh in their heads. We then headed back to my house to check out the new video game and have some lunch, everyone was ready to play!

I was a little bit worried about the age range of the kids at the party, I thought some might be too young for the game and others too old. I shouldn't have been worried in the least, the game was perfect for everyone that attended, ages 4-45. I paired the kids up by age, set the timer, and ready set go......

I myself am not normally a fan of video games, but I just can't get enough of this one. It's super fun, and a great way to spend some family time indoors, when it's too hot for outside play. We have spent many hot Arizona afternoons, lounging about in the family room, taking part is some good old fashioned competition. I am starting to think us adults like the game even more than the kids. My 6 year old twins had never played video games before this, but they had no trouble figuring Cars 3 out, the 6 game modes allow everyone to play and progress at their own pace.

I have to say I think everyone's favorite part of this video game, is the graphics. From the minute we turned it on at the party, everyone was in awe of how amazing the graphics are, and the kids loved that you can even chose Mater as your character!
