CHANDLER, Ariz. – This fall, fans of all things retro, upcycled, chipped and shabby-chic will find it in abundance at Front Porch Pickins Vintage & Handmade Market.
The large-scale shopping showcase set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13 and Saturday, Oct. 14 will take over Chandler’s Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park for the first time, bringing its unique blend of antiques, home décor, furniture, handmade goods and other one-of- a-kind finds to the East
Valley.
Guests can make their way through more than 100 vendor booths, from the Freckled Pearl, which provides lettering, signage and wall art to the Umbrella Tree Shop, a pop-up baby boutique offering teething jewelry and other handmade goods for the little ones.
Also setting up shop at Front Porch Pickins’ October event is Elevated Décor, which offers distressed and adorned wall art and décor, Over the Top, a purveyor of vintage painted furniture and other home goods, and Gypsy Cup, a coffee-shop- on-wheels- of-sorts featuring cold brews, nitro
coffee and other options to caffeinate attendees while they peruse the vendor booths. Beer and wine will also be available, and some of the area’s top food trucks, among them Doughlicious, Southwest Kettle Corn and Pura Vida Grinds, will be onsite throughout the two-day affair. Saturday’s event will
also feature an onsite vintage and classic car show as part of the festivities.
“Our fall events are always well-attended, both because the weather is ideal and because people are looking to outfit their homes and get ahead of gift-buying for the holidays,” said Front Porch Pickins’ Desiree Byrne. “Our vendors are pulling out all the stops ahead of October’s event, so come on
down and see why Front Porch Pickins has fast become one of Arizona’s biggest and best-attended vintage vendor showcases.”
Tickets are $10, and children ages 12 and under may enter for free. Onsite parking is also available for $5.
