CHANDLER, Ariz. – If “getting down and dirty with Santa” lands somewhere near the top of your wish list this holiday season, then it’s time to bust out that ugly sweater and dust off that big red hat.

The first-annual Dirty Santa Big Red 5K is slated for 9:30 AM, Saturday, Dec. 2 at Chandler’s Wild Horse Motorsports Park. The all-ages, family friendly affair will support Operation Santa Claus, which offers relief and much-needed resources for local children’s charities during the holiday season.
Hosted by John Holmberg and Brady Bogen of Holmberg’s Morning Sickness, Arizona’s number one morning show on 98 KUPD ,the inaugural edition of the Dirty Santa run is open to all fitness levels, and revelers are encouraged to run, walk or jog through 3.5 miles of track while tackling an array of holiday-themed obstacles along the way. A separate, Kid’s Dash/Reindeer run area will also have age-appropriate inflatable and obsticales for little ones 12 & under seeking to participate.

Climb atop the snow covered dirt hills, try your luck at Santa’s Sack Pull, or conquer the snowy slide. Score prizes for donning the best seasonal garb, obstacle blunder, or cheer family & friends from inside the on site grandstands, with spectacular views of this holiday fun.
