Nacho Daddy Las Vegas Strip: Family Dining Review

If you recall from my Mom’s getaway weekend in Vegas, Kari and myself were invited to Nacho Daddy, and had an amazing girls’ night out meal including a drink or two or three. Well the end of November, our family went to Las Vegas for Miller’s softball tournament, and I got to return to Nacho Daddy, with the whole family this time. I knew that they were family friendly and had a kid’s menu from my previous visit, but I have to admit I kinda wish that wasn’t the case, as Kari and I had so much fun there during our girls’ night and I kinda like that memory, lol.

So sadly for me, Nacho Daddy is super family friendly and an amazing place to go with your kids while you are in Vegas. Not only do they have fabulous food, but they have amazing adult drinks, that will help you make it through your crazy and hectic family holiday. As usual we were met by the amazing staff when we walked in the door, always a smiling face ready to help. Now I have to say that it was much much easier to decide what to order, when it was just Kari and I!!

We debated back and forth on what type of nachos to order as a appetizer, and decided on the Nacho Average Burger Nachos: seasoned ground beef, applewood smoked bacon, yellow queso, red onions, tomatoes & shredded lettuce on top of our house made corn chips. My kids thought it was weird to have bacon on their nachos, I was like heck no, bacon tastes good on anything, and I was right. These nachos were absolutely amazing, they were so good, that hubby and I barely got any. My 7 year old son Jaxsen, who is the pickiest kid on the block, loved them, which says a lot.

For our entrees, the kids each got a kids’ meal. Miller got the tacos, Adysen the cheeseburgers, and Jaxsen the chicken strips. Now I always worry with a kids meal, that Miller will still be hungry, she is almost 11. That was not the case at all at Nacho Daddy, the kids meals are very generous. Milo ordered the special, a Killer Shrimp Sandwich: crispy tempura battered shrimp tossed in a sweet chili lime glaze, toasted hoagie, serrano slaw, and awesome sauce. It was so good, and took me back to our trip to New Orleans and Po’Boy sandwiches, so darn yummy. I had the fish tacos: signature flour tortillas, filled with shredded cabbage, serrano aïoli, mango salsa, avocado & cilantro, Negra Modelo marinated grilled beer battered fish. I love fish tacos, and I am so very particular about them, but I have to say the fish tacos were spot on. The perfect amount of crispy fish, cabbage, and avocado, I can’t say enough about them!

We were so full after dinner, but of course we weren’t too full to have dessert. The kids could not agree on one, so they were nice enough to let us get two to share. We went with the Deep Fried Ice Cream: vanilla bean ice cream coated with cinnamon sugar corn flakes & deep fried, topped with whipped cream. Served with chocolate & raspberry sauce with flour chips, and the Churro Sundae: Cinnamon sugar churro topped with chocolate, raspberry & caramel sauce served with ice cream topped with whipped cream & cherries. I am certain that the description alone is enough to convince you they were both amazing, put it this way, the kids were trying to lick the plates!!

If I wasn’t able to convince you to try Nacho Daddy after the last time I wrote the article, then I am certain I will be able to now. Nacho Daddy is the perfect location for a date night, a girls’ night out, or a family meal. No matter the circumstance, the ambience is fun, the service is excellent, and the food is amazing!!
