Hubby and I were lucky enough to sneak out a couple weeks ago, and check out the new location of Stufrageous Burgers in Chandler. Stufrageous Burgers is located in a strip mall by the Sam’s Club just of Ray Rd, located at 890 N 54th Street. Now we had no idea what to expect, other than the burgers are stuffed with your choice of toppings. So when we arrived, we were lucky enough to have Jenna, one of the owners there to help us out.
I decided to order my burger stuffed with feta, mushrooms, bacon, and sauteed onions and my hubby ordered the BBQ M.O.S (stuffed with mushrooms, sauteed onions & swiss cheese: topped with crispy onion straws). I am a burger lover, and I have been quite disappointed in the burgers I have gotten lately, that was not the case at Stufrageous.
The burgers at Stufrageous were cooked to perfection, they were so moist and juicy, and the the idea of the toppings in the middle is brilliant! There is nothing worse than biting into a big juicy burger, and having all the toppings slide off and drop all over the place. Putting the toppings in the middle, keeps them right where they should be, instead of on your shirt!
For our side dishes, Milo ordered the sweet potato fries and I ordered the fried tempura green beans. Now let’s talk about the green beans. I had never had tempura green beans before, but they were amazing. They were so good that I will honestly make trips back just to eat them. They are nice and crispy, and seasoned to perfection. My husband was literally fighting me for my green beans. He ordered the sweet potato fries and they were really good as well, nice and crispy. All the sides are made when you order them, so no french fries sitting there getting cold, which is a major pet peeve of mine!
Jenna came over to see how we were enjoying everything, and offered us dessert. I really hadn’t planned on dessert. as I was getting really full. But I couldn’t say no right? I figured that would be kinda rude. We decided to order the loaded cookie with vanilla ice cream. chocolate chips, and pecans. It was so good, crispy on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside, my kids will love this one.
You really need to go check out Stufrageous. It is the perfect location for a casual date, or dinner out with the family. Go in and support Jenna and her family, it’s so refreshing to see an owner right on in there working with the rest of the crew, and don’t be shy, ask for suggestions if you’re not sure what to order.
