Christmas on Upland Drive

In Chandler

December 15, 2021

Christmas on Upland Drive

(Chandler)-   A tradition that started in the late 1980’s continues in Chandler.    Each year the neighbors prepare their street with lights, decorations, music, movie projectors, and lots of magic.   Each house  in the neighborhood has a unique touch as they share their love for Christmas.  Some nights there are food trucks and horse-drawn carriages trotting up and down the street.  Visit their facebook page for upcoming events. My husband lived on Upland Drive when he was a teenager and enjoys going back each year to visit the neighborhood. It has become a family tradition for us to visit each year.

Hours:  5PM- 10PM

Location:  2600 Block of Upland Drive  (South of Warner and East of 101)

Through December 20th, Christmas on Upland Drive is currently collecting gifts for  BRANCHING OUT ARIZONA, which support all types of families, including foster/adopt and special needs, who are going through difficult times.  Neighbors are also collecting non-perishable goods and raising money for AZ CEND Food Bank (https://azcend.org).  Look for the little holiday Donation House.

Note:  When visiting Christmas on Upland Drive, be cautious of your surroundings and moving vehicles.  Please make sure when walking dogs around the neighborhood your dogs are tightly leashed. The horses can spook easily if dogs run and bark at them.
